Do I Need To Quarantine

Hi, i bought two dwarf fire gouramis this morning and put them in my quarantine tank (which does not have a heater at the moment) and then realized when I got home that it was going to be 40 degrees F(4.4 degrees celcius) tonight even though its been like 80 (26.6) outside lately, which means that it will probanly be 60 degrees F(15.5 degrees C) in the house, this will make the water very cold. I was wondering if I were to treat the gouramis for parasites right now regardless of wether they do or not do i still need to quarantine them before putting them in one of my tanks that has a heater?

hm......this is tricky. maybe yuo can put them in the tank but seperate them somehow?

mabye i could put them in an open ziplock and float it in the tank?

The thing about putting them in an open ziplock is that there would be no circulation of water. It would depend on how long you needed to float them for.
