Do I Need To Leave The Water Before Testing?

I have just done a 255 water change and suddenly wondered as I was about test the water, Do I need to leave the water to settle of circulate around the aquarium before I test it? Dunno if it is a silly question or not so thought I would ask

25%, but missing the shift key gives you 5 instead of %. To answer the first question, no you shouldn't have to wait. The water has circulated by the time you get out your test kit.

Thanks for that. anyway tested the water and all looks good as far as I can see.
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 20+ but not quite 30

thinking about adding a few more fish in the next week
