So I have an Arcadia arc 20 fish less cycling at the mo and some mossy plants and moss balls in there.
I'm going to be keeping shrimp in it and possibly some rasbora or sparkling gouramis in the future.
The problem I have is that when I turn my air pump on in the morning any debris on the floor of tank floats around and lands on my moss balls and moss tunnel which makes them very unsightly.
My question is do I actually NEED an air pump in there?
The tanks lid has some gaps in the side and front so I'm wondering if this will provide enough oxygen.

Any advice is greatly appreciated :)

no, you dont, no tank HAS to have an air pump, your filter will ripple the surface enough if you are concerned about oxygen.

These are my two 35L Arc Tanks

No air pump required!

The 20 litre is very small for fish, but a few Dwarf spotted Rasbora, chilli rasbora, or a Betta might work?

Gluck!
