Hi I have recently set up a fluval vincenza. My questions are where whould I position the outlet tube, above the water line so that the water is going down into it or underwater so that it is just moving the water around. Does this oxygenate the water sufficiently, there are no guidelines in the set up.
Should I be buying a bubble tube????

Heya Keastclan, You want good surface ripples which increases oxygen in the tank.

So you could put the outlet tube underwater but facing up so it's rippling the water. Bubble tubes aren't needed and the filter should produce enough oxygen for the tank.

so you don't need to see any bubbles collecting on the side of the tank or coming out of the tube?

Bubble tubes are really just for show, Like I said you want surface movement/rippes for good oxygen exchange.
