Do I Have the Best Luck or What?!

So, most of you probably know by now that I saved a Clown and a Tiger Pleco, along with 3 Longfinned Danios from being flushed by a stupid lfs, yesterday. Well unfortunately 2 of the Danios didn't make it through the night...they looked very malnourished, and wouldn't eat any food I gave them last night.

So, today, I went into my favorite lfs to see if I could replace them, because I absolutely fell in love with those gorgeous long fins. And they were having a sale...a big one. So this is what I got:

4 Head and Tail Light Tetras (for my Pleco tank)
3 Longfinned Danios (2 Blue, 1 Zebra for my 29 gallon)
3 Corydoras arcuatus (or Skunk Corys, for my 7.5 gallon)

...and guess how much I paid...? 99 CENTS PER FISH!!!! I couldn't believe it! Corys...for 99 cents! I nearly flipped!

Seriously, this has been the best weekend ever.

Nope, not going out of business, they just have big sales from time to time. And it's always a different "theme" for the sale. Like the last time it was a sale on Loaches, Angelfish, and Livebearers. This time it's Livebearers, Tetras, Danios, and Corys.

I wish I could've gotten more of these little Skunk Corys though. They were actually the last three Corys left in the store, so I guess I got lucky. But they are just so cute and soooo tiny! They are playing with my Otos and getting them all riled up! It's pretty funny!

Wow that's great !!! yes the long finned danios are beautiful but u didnt get any live bearers Sailfins are usually 9.99 a pair here !!!

OMG I'm so overrun by Livebearers at the moment I barely want to look at them, lol! I've currently got 7 Yucatan Mollies, 4 Swords, and 3 Platies. I love them all but due to lack of room, I've had to seperate all my males form the females, and hope against hope that the females aren't already pregnant.

But 9.99 for a pair of Sailfins?! Are you talking about Swords or Mollies here...because here Sailfin Swords are about 3.99 at the most, and Mollies are about 2.99. Platies run about 1.99 and Swords are about 2.99.

You're so lucky - I've never seen a sale on at any lfs near me. At least, not on fish anyway.

This is the only lfs that has fish sales in my area. All the others have sales, but are only on hardware or food or cleaning supplies.

I love my lfs.
