do i have room

At the moment I have

8 silvertips tetras

3 x-ray tetras

1 danio

1 golden spotted pleco

2 red flame honey gouramis

2 male guppies

I have a 4ft x 12" x 18" aqaurium. Does anyone think I will have a enough room for a yoyo loach or a clown loach.

I know that these fish would prefer to be in groups of three or so, but surely they would be fine on their own in a community tank.

What do ya reckon.

clown loach will get too big for your tank,plus i had one on his own,very nervous all the time.in the end,i gave him to my mate who had 7 clowns in a big tank.why not get a sailfin synodontis or some kind of smaller plec??

yoyos are the same, need 3 or more and lots of hidding places..

certain fish like to be in groups of 3 or more and others prefer to be on their own.my fire eel is happy on his own as is my plec where as my denisonii are in a group of 7.may be think about a smaller variety of loach or think about some totally different fish what about some corys.loads of different ones

some people reckon I am stocked to the limit I think I have a few spare inches if I add another filter

I am just thinking of something that would eat snails. But I am open to suggestions on any type of fish.

My brother keeps nagging at me to get neons, (boring).

how big is your plec??don't always follow the rules.my fire eel lived in a tank with small neons for a year and never ate one.

my plec is about 4 inches at the mo. He is a gentle fish though. The gouramis sit on his back and eat the algae wafers from his mouth.
