Do I Float A Live Plant Page?

Hello,

juz got some new live plants for my fish tank. is there anything i need 2 do 2 prep them before they enter the aqarium i.e. floating the page ect. ???

If the lighting is low, I would suggest that you float them until they have sprouted roots.

Some aquarists dip them in a mild solution of potassium permanganate to kiil snails and bugs.

I normally stick them straight into the sand and let them root.
