Do fishes eat fruit?

pacu in the wild eat fermented berries that fall in the amazon in the rainy season.they are HUGE too.Pacu in the Native language means "Crazy Fish"when they eat these fermented berries they get DRUNK. and jump onto the land and in boats.Thats a big deal for the natives because its thier main source of economy
they can get up to a foot tall and 1 and a half feet long.and they taste exactly like pork. They are actually called pig of the river because of the taste and texture...anyways they are extremely expensive here in the states as they can go for about 30 bucks a plate.sorry kinda got off subject...aquarium education...u know.
