Hi,
If my tadpole snails breed will my fish eat the eggs right away? I've got Neons and Lampeye's,
If so, is there anyway around this?

They may eat the egg sacs. I know bettas and puffers will eat them at least. :). If you want these guys to breed, maybe you could set up a small tank just for them? That's what I'm doing right now.

Sorry a bit off topic... Are there any really small puffers? I've seen some at my lfs that they say will stay below 1/2". Also are they fully fresh water, or do they need to go to brackish or full marine at some point?

dorecs: I have Neons and they don't bother any of the snail eggs... unfortunately, If they get detached from what ever they were attached to then they will. But then again, these are pond snails... thus the question about the puffer...

Dwarf puffers only reach an inch. Fully freshwater. I love mine.

That looks about what they have.. I guess I might get a couple.
