Ok you have posted a few times with this request so i will try to help as best possible.
I have never seen the kit you talk about, but i am presuming it is a just a canister (like a bottle) that you put the mix in with water and suger and then it has a tube coming out of it into the diffuser/tank?
The reason noone replied in the first place, because they all use the DIY nutrafin mix, which is measured using special marks on the unit itself!! SO i have measured out the water used, and hopefully u can then just use the same in your cylinder.
Measure 100ml of water, and pour it into your conister. Make a MARK (somehow!)- will will call this MARK A
Pour the water out.
Measure 1 litre and pour it in your canister, make another mark. MARK B
Pour the water out.
This is how the nutrafin canister is marked out!!! Now u just follow the instructions.
Fill the canister up to mark A with caster sugar.
Pour 1/2 teaspoon of allisons yeast (or other yeast brands, i just know allisons works and others use it, and its easy to get from Asda, Tesco ect) in to cup with a little bit of warm water. Stir it for a good few minutes until it is FULLY disolved. Add 1 tablespoon of bakeing powder and stir it in. Add the yeast solution to the caster sugar in the canister. And fill the canister to MARK B with warm water.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have no idea how big your canister is!! If that is anywhere near the top, i`d say more than an inch from the top, remove some of the mixture. Otherwise it could end in tears, the yeast mixture will bubble up and run into the tank!
You will need to check that for sure, but other than that i can`t forsee any more problems. Infact, if the cansiter is bigger, you could add a little more mix.
Hope that helps. Let me know how you get on. And i`ll just remind you again, if yeast mix does get in the tank for a few minutes the water will go horrible cloudy and is a nightmare. If it leaks for a while, your fish will die and the hole tanks turns into a horrible mess!! You have been warned, but if you keep a good inch away from the top you`ll be fine!
