Well, here I go. I don't have any plants yet but i want to experiment and see how much of a ph drop I will get so I'm seeing how much of a handyman I am.
I don't know that elmers will work. From what i remember as a kid doing crafts, that glue is very water soluable, even after it has dried. If it gets moist inside I don't think it will stay dried.
Thats what i've been hearing, but all i have around the house...or my dad has actually, is caulking, rubber sement...etc. Obviously all of that is very toxic, and i always have 2 liter bottles should it fail due to my addiction to Moutain Dew
What about a hot glue gun? I think that would be better for that situation. I picked up some aquarium sealant for under 10 CAD at my lfs. So I'm sure you will be able to find it next time you are out, and I would reccomend that over the emlers.
