Diy Co2

In the same way that you would if you were posting in a thread, post the [IMG*] link into the signature and it will appear, you will need to resize the image first though, the length of my image is 300 pixels.

Been reading abit more on CO2 and apparently its ideal to turn your CO2 on 2 hours before lights come on and turn off 1 hour before lights go off. Thing is i work shifts so my hours are all over the place which will make this very difficault.
Is there anyway i can put the CO2 to a timer so it turn its self on n off? If so what will i need (equipment) to make this happen?

An electronic regulator? Do these exsist?

Yes, you'd use a solenoid on a timer.

Yes, you'd use a solenoid on a timer.
Isnt the solenoid usually built in to the reg?
I have seen regualtors with a plug attach and did wonder why they would need a plug?

they attach to the regulator and have a plug, so the ones you've seen will have solenoids.

It looks fine, you just have to go and buy a timer, the solenoid will have a plug attatched to it. :good:

How often should the 4DKH and PH solution be changed in the drop checker?

Thanx. Ordering all my kit this weekend so should be up n running very soon

Are you in the UK? If so you will need a 3 pin plug or an adapter, if its from hong kong it will have a 2 pin plug on it. Just something to remember. You can usually just snip them off and rewire them to a UK plug. If it only has two wires in it, then you have live and neutral, there is no earth. and it doesnt matter which way around they go, it will complete the circuit when live either way.

Yes I am in the uk. Thanx for that tizer! 3 amp fuse should be ok?
