DIY Breeder Net?

I already have a "baby saver", but I don't like the way its set up, its fairly old, and doesnt fit in my "delivery" tank right. Does anyone have any ideas/suggestions?

I saw something interesting in a friends tank. Five Star Fish uses a BIG net that she has stabilized with the tank top. it is much roomier than a breeding tank and her babies are ADORABLE and seem to love it.

My suggestion is to get some of the finer (smaller holed) plastic canvas (stuff used for craft projects) and somehow string it together and make a fry tank/breeder net out of it. I've been considering doing it, but I don't have any need for a breeder net right now. If you try it, let me know how it works!
