Diy Airstone?

my air curtain bust (those crappy green stone-looking things) i won't make it to the pet store for a week and i live 40 miles away and the car don't run. i can't stand that bubbling sound that the bare air line makes, any ideas what i can do to make one for the week? something that makes similar bubbles as an air curtain? where are all the MacGyvers!?

Turn it off then. Unless that is the only source of surface movement, an airpump is superfluous.
