Divided Tank Filtration ?

I have my eyes on a tank which i can divide into three quarters for bettas as have tanks all over the place so would like just one with my two current boys and a new new who my mate is looking after for me.
But what i cant seem to get my head round is how to filter such a tank do i need three seperate pumps for each section, one biiiig pump to send the flow through all sections or would a UG filter underneath the whole tank with the dividers lying on top work i already know the heater will be in the middle so heat can disperse evenly its just the filters that are doing my head in ATM.

which devider's...if glass you will deffo need a filter in each section, if those plastic mesh/net one's you should be ok, but could always add a powerhead to blow through, but if its for betta's they wont like that one bit

here's what i did with mine and heat is the same in all 4 sections
there's a small hole in the tube above the 2 middle sections and the rest goes into the end section so filling that one forces the water flow back through the other sections

by the way the penn plax dividers i used are now really opaque so the fish can't see each other through them
