Dithers & Discus

Hi Guys.

Im planning on adding my final discus in the new year but want to get some dithers as my discus are a bit.. skittish at best, i have 4 albino corys but they don't seem to be reassuring the discus.

So anyway, basically i wondered what dithers you guys keep with your discus.

Im thinking a shoal of some cardinal tetra's, around 8-10 or so.

I have glowlights in with discus they are quite a good mix so cardinals will be good, i also have them with gbr's.

I would go with cardinals personally.

Just about any tetra would be good. Emperor tetra are bigger and cool funny fish. Mine love to nip at my arm when I'm doing stuff in the tank. But they don't school tight. Rummy nose are nice neons are cute.

Not really... I would be worried some sp. couldn't withstand the high temperatures, some might get eaten, and some might even get a little too nippy.

Yea those are my thoughts also, i think itll be cardinals tbh as they can withstand the temps as im running the discus at 29-30

I have my discus with a sail fin plec and bgnf and a razor back turtle with temps at 80f to 82f and have done for three years.
