i dont know if you have any of these disgraceful vandals snooping around your local eel inhabited lakes or rivers or what not.
but here in brisbane, australia it has become something of a trend certainly in my local area

the problem is eel hunting.
the harmless eels are being hunted by local scum and are cooked and eaten regularly towards delicious extinction

i for one am a graceful eel collector and i treasure every beautiful minute i spend with my eels.

eel hunting and consumption is becoming something of a sport down here...
just wondering if this is happening elsewhere?

there would be at least 200 eel hunters in my suburb alone and i think it is disgusting

myself and a friend are also considering leading a campaign to stop these rotten acts, do any of yous have any ideas towards what we could do?

sometimes i think the councils efforts to support this area of brisbanes creeks if adequate
if u look at the state of bulimba creek itself it is disgusting for the poor eels let alone having vandals catch them and eat them

i really wanna sort out these punks myself for that very reason
if a good old fasshioned creekside riot is what it takes then i will try my very best cos the current activity is simply wrong

I do not understand how it is any different to regular fishing?

I have relatives in rural NSW and they regularly go fishing in the rivers for catfish/eel/barramundi and the like. They eat them too. There's plenty of them.

I don't get it, or your argument? How does fishing make someone a 'vandal'?
