HI guys ive seen sum discus in my lfs for £12.99 each wich i know is cheap but there is nothing wrong with the as all fish he quarantine every fish he sells for 4weeks but the question is are they ok to go in my tank and of with the fish.
tank size:80cm long, 35cm wide and 70cm high volume is 125ltr with a filter for 150ltr+.
fish as follows

FISH
8Cardinal Tetras
1Male Fighter
3Female Fighters
4German Blue Rams
1Bristlenose Pleco
5Platies

The PH is spot on at 7.0 temp is fine 28deg c.
I have heard they are realy difficult to keep but then other people say the not that hard as long as you keep up with tank cleans.
Please tell me as much info as you can about them please like size temp such as that


The Discus are about the size of a teacup
 
Sadly, in the long run, your tank is too small.
The absolute minimum size for an adult discus group of 4 is 200L, absolute min.
They do better in groups of 5 upwards, ideally in a tank of 300L.
They grow to about 20cm each, give or take, so in your tank they would only be able to move their own body length 3 times, imagine that as 3 paces to you or me.
They are also incredibly docile fish and need pristine water quality.

Basically, they wouldn't mix well in your tank, anyway you split it.
