do they deliver as i dont drive, my lfs has some discus but im not sure on his prices and he keeps them in RO water so i think the change to tap water may harm the fish

im pretty sure they will ship. most good suppliers do. i wouldnt bother with lfs discus tbh. the quality is never as good as from specialists. also with places like leicesterdiscus you can research his suppliers from his links and see exactly the kind of bloodline your fish are coming from .

as for the swap from ro water to tap water . it can be done easily. my fish were kept in ro water , i bought them home acclimated them slowly over the course of about an hour gradualy adding tank water to the bag then net and release. no problems at all.

i now have another problem, i have found 10 different discus i like, but cant keep 20 and i would like at least 2 of each of the discus i chose, if i gave u a list of the 10 i chose could u help me narrow it down to 5?

sure il offer an opinon but it will be based on what i like personally . in the end its really up to you which strains you have .

hmmm . tough theres some really nice strains there.

id maybe have

2 marlboro red
2 blue turqs
2 tiger turqs
2 blue cobalt
2 leopard

now to throw a spanner in the works . check out golden leopard snakeskin , ring leopard, penang eruption, , the list is endless lol

david is a good guy to deal with . his fish are good but imo i think leicester discus have the edge

so they are worth getting from then, do they deliver as i couldnt see anything on there site about delivery costs

oh and what else do u keep in your tank with them?

I like the look of the 'Snowflake' Discus and the 'Red Scribble' ones another member bought here recently that i saw whilst browsing, they look lovely

i will give him a call tomoro and find out, i managed to narrow it down with the help of google images.

2x blue cobalt
2x marlboro red
2x checkerboard
2x leopard
2x tiger turquoise
and possibly 10 cardinals or 10 black widow tetras

in a tank that size you could easily have 40 or 50 cardinals .

I think the cardinals would work better. Or you could go for
25 Cardinal
