Discus

im new to Discus and i am going to buy a breeding pair, is there some hints u guys can give me pls?

Wow, big spender!

Not much in tips. Keep them in a tank of atleast 29 gallons, bare bottom. Ph of under 7. Use a simple spondge filter.

Fry require daily water changes, and should be fine feeding off the parents mucus for 2-3 weeks. After this time I suggest feeding them with baby brine and ground flake 3 times daily. I would also at that point seperate them into their growout tank.

They probably won't breed for a few weeks until they get settled in. I must warn you that sometimes the change in environments or even the transfer from tanks can cause them to stop breeding.

yeah well i want them to start breeding straoght away.
only if you get lucky LOL

make sure you get a proven pair.. ie they have had fry, not just eggs

Given your location if it were me I would be hopping across to Malaysia to buy from one of the real players....maybe even combine it with a trip to aquarama or the malaysian discus show..... IIRC Aquarama is october this year.

Mike does have a point. This could turn into a big investment. Most pairs I have seen start from about 650 USD. You really want to make sure you are getting quality in an investment that expensive. The trip to Malaysia would be a blast I bet. :hey:
