She meant keeping them alone as a species, which is partly true. Or are you criticizing the fact she said 5-6 Discus in a 55G?

Right.
I could have sworn that Discuslova's profile said "female" ah well. Apologies for calling you "she".

Um, hello. Remember the subject? I can't decide which, angelfish or discus! :shout: It would be awesome if you guys could give some comparisons and pro's and con's.

Discus your looking at RO water really and water changes 2 times a week at least.

Angel fish one water change a week with normal water.

That's my main problem with them, though I do the twice weekly water changes often anyway.

Which are easier to keep

What did I just say, the discus require more water changes, so making them not as easy as angels.

Also angels are less sensitive, cheaper and don't need suc dedicated care.

its funny how SamUK says i give out bad info i mean i do sometimes but in this thread i gave out decent information 5 discus in a 55gal tank is recommended. everyone else didn't think that the info i gave out was bad your always flaming me out saying ooh bad info ooh dont lisen to DiscusLova what i said was perfectly good info SamUK all i ment by keeping them by themselves was they are very fragile fish and are expensive so dont go and put abunch of agressive fish in that will stress and kill the Discus!!! my god stop it your always out to get me and ur pissing me off!

I agree. And would go for the Rams as IMO they would look better than the Kribs arent would get on very well with your tank.

I read a book about discus and decided they are more interesting. I have one question and I'll be on my way. Could I successfully breed discus in a small school? How about with neon tetras and ram?
