Completely and utterly without a doubt you cant even try it the discus would be dead within a day.

Discus soft water ph 6.5

Cichlids hard water ph 8.2

Yeah there is nooooo way. Discus like very acidic water where as cichlids like alkalinity. I would compare this situation to a small white male (the discus) being put into a prison in south central Los Angeles (the cichlids)
