Any one know why my water looks cloudy/particles floating in my water?

I do weekly 25% water changes
I am running 2 filters, a juwel bio flow 3 and an all pond solutions 2000l/hr external
190l juwel trigon
Stock is 4 juvenile cichlids and 4 Amano shrimp
Don't over feed , the food I give is gone in under 1 min.
Lights are 2x t5 day lights that run 6-7 hrs a day
My tank is not by the window.

Mine's doing/looking exactly the same, my previous tank did the same thing, so at the minute I'm not to concerned, my belief is that it's a  bacterial bloom based on new tank syndrome research, it could also be substrate based I've now got dirt under the fine gravel I'm using, I'm just going to maintain my water changes though doing 50% weekly changes instead of my usual 30%

You forgot to mention the size of your tank...

I read the bit where it said 190 litre Juwel Trigon

Strangely, my 200l is exactly the same right now... I'm guessing the same as kirky, bacterial or agitated substrate - my cories dig an awful lot!

Is it anything like this?

I'll be increasing the volume and frequency of my WCs until it goes away...

I'm not worried as my water hasn't got ammonia or nitrite just the nitrate that's low as I regularly water change. It just dosnt look too nice, I have a feeling it's some thing to do with my sand I may be wrong I don't even have a reason to suggest its the sand it's just a feeling. Lol

And was just gonna say about the 190l juwel trigon bit is up there lol thanks Kirky

Yes but not as bad. Also my sand is white well it was but now looks like a rusty kind of colour on the surface. Also the same free floating particles can be seen on the water surface. Do you guys have this?

Yes, looks like chalky clouded water that looks most prolific at the surface.

I'm going to test my water tomorrow for ammonia and nitrate as I recently had white spot that I treated and the advice on the bottle said it may un cycle filters , maybe I need to go through cycling again and this is a bacterial bloom which is a side effect from ammonia right?

Yup, sounds like a bit of bacterial bloom I reckon, not too much to worry about really as already mentioned.
Will go away naturally or do a little more water changes, this happened to me before on my main tank.

Did not affect anything.
I left it alone, 2 days later, cloudiness all gone and water crystal clear.

Cichlids love to dig and nest as well. That may be your problem.
Only got the cichlids yesterday and it was cloudy already
