I have Eleocharis Vivipara along the back wall of my aquarium. It grows REALLY quick, but is not looking as good as i had hopped.
The first issue is that its dirty.... along with the grass i have on the substrate. This started when some dirt from the substrate got kicked up and lands on the plants. As they are so intertangled etc, it is difficut to get off!
I can shake the plants, and the muck will come off. But its then in the water, so lands on the plants again! Arg.
The substrate is the worst for it! and it always looks brown because of this!
The Vivipara has also got intertangled, so does not look how i had wished it to from Amano aquariums!
So, suggestions? I am almost thinking about taking it out all together and replacing it with something else its annoying me so much! I could take out the Vivpara and wash it, then replace it when the water settles.... but i cant take out the grass!
