Dirt in aquarium

Hi,

When I do a water change all this dusty dirty stuff gets stirred up, lands on my ornaments and looks horrid! Any idea what it could be/ how I prevent it? Water going in is crystal clear, it’s all over my white pebbles and betta cave and looks like a thick layer of dust!

Get a basic model gravel cleaner like the one in the following link and use that when you do water changes. It will let you suck the gunk out of the tank while some water drains out.
