Back in the 1970s at the tender age of about 12, I convinced my uncle, (a real tropical fish enthusiast), to set me up with a tank.  It was a meta framed four footer filled with live bearers, tetras and harlequins.  Things moved on and eventually the lot was sold off.

Now, almost exactly forty years later, I have convinced the same uncle to set me up with another coincidentally four foot tank.  Things are a lot smarter now and its in an oak cabinet and the fish are angels, albeit three month babies at the moment, (pictured below).  Really looking to get into this properly this time.

I have a bit more room than my 1975 tiny bedroom and my pocket money is a lot lot better.

Beautiful shoal of angels you have there.  And yes, things have certainly changed.  It's been a very long time since I first kept fish and a lot seems to have moved on

Very nice indeed.

I would love a FTS and more information such as tank size, plants etc
Can already see you have java fern and possibly vallisernias.

Am nosey :p

Thanks Amber.  You're not too bad yourself :)

Its a 4ft tank Charlie and I don't have a clue about plant names yet.  I just get the ones that I like and poke them in the substrate.  I have a video which is probably more informative but I can't work out how to upload yet.
