Dillema

im in a bit of a dillemma 2 days ago i notced my male fighter stuck in an ornamental lighthouse(which i have since removed) i dont know how long he was stuck for but he seems to be in a bad way ive added bacterial stuff cant remember what it began with M but theres not been much improvement if any he just sits in corner of tank hardly moving and has what appears to be rips on his belly and one sinde of his face.....it could be rips or fungal im not sure ............i cant post a pic for anyone to see but should i put him to sleep or leave him longer to see if he recovers? damn lfs for selling these things they should tell you about the risks etc thanks for all replies joe

I would give him longer, though once the skin breaks it gives entry for bacteria and parasites, what med are you using is it myxazin.

just checked the meds and yes its myxazin...........so how much longer should i give him to improve as i woudnt like to think he will catch any parasite etc

It could take two courses, as i remember it's a 5 days course, you do have to give the meds time to work, good luck.

well sadly he didnt make it got up and he was much worse struggling to move to anywere in the tank even for food so i thought it best to euthanise him
