Ok, bit of a dilemma here, my angel fish have spawned.

Now at first I was made up, look at me aren't I a great owner! But now im getting to the point of the wrigglers look like they are about to free swim, the reality is that if I get 30-40 new angel fish there is nothing I can do with them.

I havent got the space for another tank. I'd like to sccop the eggs out and grow them but this isnt really an option. Should I just leave them to nature, I'm pretty sure the other fish in there would gobble the fry up, there are a couple of kribs and a polleni which would make short work of them. My other tank is way too small for angels and I think the rams I have in there would snack on them too.

Have I got any other options apart from leave them too it and see if any grow. The tank [200l] has bio capacity to take more fish but territrially it wouldnt work...

Any thoughts

When my cories have spawned, I let nature take its course.  I've had some make it to adulthood, but not many.

I agree with eagles; unless you're set up to breed or raise fry, you're better off leaving them to it.

Might sound harsh, but nature is harsh...the fate of nearly all fry, in the wild, is to be eaten.

I don't feel quite as guilty now. That had been my first thought when the eggs came. They've never got as far as this before the wrigglers / egg sacks are kind of hopping around the leaf they are on and suddenly felt a bit cruel!

Fwiw I wholly agree about nature being cruel, but in nature they arent so confined with other fish who will happily chow down on them ;-)

True, a fish tank is not 'nature', but at the same time, the reason fish have so many eggs at a time is because they don't normally have a lot of successful upbringing.
