Dilema People, Any Suggestions Would Be Welcomed?!

ok heres the deal (already regretting using that phrase but cant think of anything better)
dont worry, its fish related

im not going on my dads family holiday this year, 2 weeks in cyprus, and you'd think that wouldnt be a problem but...

my step mum refuses to allow me in the house whilst her and my dad are away to look after the fish (some paranoia about me being an evil teenage youth), and shes got her brother to feed my fish

one main issue is that my cockatoo apistos are getting very flirty and i dont want to miss any action, or not be there if they need any help (i.e liquifry and nauplii, etc)
i also dont want to return to a load of dead fish

it seems impossible to me, but i hoped you guys could help me out, anyone?

Sit down and talk it through there really is no other way. Write down a concise argument with plenty of positive points to why you should stay and not just about the fish mention things like watering the garden ect. Learn it, then go have the discussion with your parents. You will be prepared and they will be struck off guard so whilst you have all these advantages prethough through they are countering with disadvantages which they are thinking of on the spot therefore your argument will be stronger and you should win.

I agree with saltynay, especially if you're not comfortable with who is taking care of your fish. Now I can say that ONLY because I won't be the one taking the beating if you get caught!!!!!!!lol Just leave instructions for him and PRAY. I'm sure it will be fine

The issue appears to be that you are not allowed in the house on your own.
Therefore - arrange to meet at the house at the time when her brother would be feeding the fish and he can supervise you.

I agree with saltnay try talkinng it through with them.

Tell them that you are thinking of the wellfare of your pets and don't want them to suffer or die because you wernt there.

I'm having to get a fish sitter in for my betta and loach babies and i can tell u i know he keeps tanks but it terrifyes me that he'l do something wrong because he keeps communitys and is sadly misinformed about bettas, which of course are my pride and joy

I'll be wrighting one heck of a detailed guide i tell u now!

Following suit once again, I must agree with saltynay. Obviously the first response was not the way to go. Talking it out with them, having a concise explaination as to why you NEED to be there is really the way to go. Alchemist has the right idea too if they won't let you be there alone.
