Hey guys,

I just purchased and installed a new nano diffuser for my 10 gallon. I am still waiting for my new bubble counter and drop checkers to come in, however I wanted to try to get the co2 system up and running. After hooking the diffuser to the hose and regulator I turned everything on and slowly opened the needle valve until I saw a lot of bubbles. I back it off until there was a small (one to two streams), constant flow of micro bubbles and watched it for about 10 min with no problem or (seemingly) loss of pressure/bubble rate. When I came back to check on it a few hours later the hose had come off of the diffuser, which was still happily suction to the tank. I took it out to let the water drip out and turned my tank back off.

Has anyone had a problem with their hose coming off? I'd imagine the pressure built up internally until that happened, but I am not sure why it was building up at that end. Could there be too much hose line in the system that allowed it to build up that much?

I'm not sure if you can see it in the picture, but there is a rib in the pipe that I made sure to put the hose passed as best I could. It was fairly difficult to get to that point and I didn't want to crack my new glass diffuser.
