I got some lyretail swords the last thursday and earlier this week i noticed one of the fish kept chasing the rest round,
I had a look on the internet asked friends and they said he was just trying to sort the pecking order so i just kept an eye on them see if it would settle down but it has calmed down abit but not completely.
The fish that seems to be chasing the others doesn't look like a lyretail just looks like a normal swordtail.
(I'de get some pictures but I haven't got the hang of taking pictures of them yet)
I was just wondering if because it was a different kind of swordtail which is why he is chasing the others round?

They are what my lyretails look like

Male swords are aggressive to other males of their own kind, he may be bigger and tougher than the lyre tails hence why he is doing all the chasing, what is your male to female ratio? if the males out number the females there will be more bickering.
