Well my danio has been acting a little odd lately. He just seemed to look less healthy than the other danio. He seemed darker with a smaller stomach. And he swam weird. So when I came down stairs this morning, I went to feed them and I found him laying on the bottom of the tank. His body was curved, kind of arched. When I looked closer I found that his gills were still moving and that every now and then his eyes would move. Some of his scales look raised too.

If the scales are raising up, it sounds like dropsy, which is a very very very difficult to treat bacterial infection. Unfortunately, it doesn't sound good. It also sounds like your fish MAY have fish TB, which is a bacterial infection. Two key symptoms of this are the fish gets very thin, and the spine curves.

Honestly, this fish sounds so bad, you may want to consider euthanizing him, especially since he is lying on the tank bottom.

Yes that sounds exactly like his symtoms. Curved back and very thin. I dont want to euthanize him. I will just have to wait and see what happens.

From what you are saying, I seriously doubt this fish will live more than a few hours, he really sounds that bad. I'm also concerned about your other fish, because fish tend to pick on dead and dying fish, which could spread the TB. To make it worse, TB is a VERY difficult disease to treat

If nothing else, can you isolate the fish?

Sorry not nice, but I agree with tttnjfttt.
Yes issolate him he's in a bad way.

Sorry not nice I know.
Some daily water changes on the tank.
And make sure you have no cuts and wounds, though its very rare to catch tb from a tank.
Wash your hands after having hands in the tank.
Good luck.
Maybe get some latex gloves.

Thanks for all the help. I removed the danio last night into a fish bowl with a air pump and airstone. The danio died durring the night. I flushed him this morning. I have cleaned out the fish bowl, and done a water change on the tank. I think my platy may have it but I am not sure. I think she is just stressed. She has clamped fins, and just does not look as healthy as she used to. I think my red tailed shark is stressing her out since he chases her all the time. I may sell him on aquabid or to my lfs.

Sorry R.I.P.
There a list of symtoms in that article watch for them.
Good luck.

I would be VERY hesitant to sell any of your fish right now, simply because they may be carrying the TB bacteria (symptoms don't always show immediately). Watch for the fish to become very thin, a curve in the spine, or other signs of bacterial infections in the platy. If you are in the US, it may be worth treating the tank with Maracyn 2, an antibiotic which CAN be effective against the TB bacteria, if it is caught early enough.
