I was doing my water change today, due to problems its taking a very long time, It was a 25% change, i added the first half of it with the dechlorinator filled the bucket up with water and went to do it again and forgot to dechlorinate for around the first 5%, remembered and added the rest of the dechlorinator to the tank, should i also add more to the water in the bucket? will the fish be ok? and can extra dechlorinator harm them?
thanks

Aslong as the water is circulating, it'll be fine. Don't worry about it.

I feel so stupid as i've been doing this for ages and made a stupid slip up now :(

I have always added all the water back in from the water change and then added enough de-chlorinator for the tank and haven't ever had a problem.

+1

My filter is broken, im just trying to fix it, does anyone know if the extra dechlorinator will be a problem?

Nah it won't be.. give the water a quick stir with something and you'll be fine.

Is there enough oxygen for the fish without the filter? or is there a airstone or w/e??

Yes, there is an airstone, but I have fixed the filter now, and just need to fill up the rest.
There is water everywhere now :/
Thank you everyone

Well clean up your spilled water, and take a deep breath, there should be nothing more to worry about now *touch wood*

Take it easy buddy.

Your having one of those days, is everything alright now?

Keith.

Yeah, My art GCSE coursework deadline is due tomorrow, so i've been switching between fish and art all night.
But everything is fine now thanks Keith :), will do a water test just to be sure though
