no

No Walmart, or similar store, got me intrested in keeping fish.

No. Walmart wasn't in Michigan when I started this hobby. I bought my first fish at a mom & pop store.

No offense, but there aren't any local Walmarts that I would buy from.

What if you answered "no" for both questions? You don't have that option.
I think you should have the options like this:
Q1: No - Q2: No
Q1: No - Q2: Yes
Q1: Yes - Q2: No
Q1: Yes - Q2: Yes

Because they way you have it its kinda confusing... LoL.

And yah, same here, I don't buy fish from Walmart. I've only got 2 fish from there, one was a female who was going to die (I gave her a nice home for her last few days :() and the other one was for my friend, she wanted one from there.

You might want to fix your title too...whats Walm Art? LoL!!! Sorry...I'll stop bugging you now. Its just mistakes make me cringe...even though I mispell from time to time too! I'll shut up now.

I'll fix the top one, but in case you didn't notice, you cant ever edit a poll. Only a admin. or a mod can edit polls. The whole way the polls are set up are stupid. We should be able to edit our own polls. And when I did it, I had Q2-no 8 spaces away, so the forum thingy went crappy and pu8t the two together......

My mom got me a goldfish when I was 2 but she took care of it.(Until I fed it cherrios to death :( )

I think Wal-Mart would have deterred me from wanting to keep fish rather than inspire me into the hobby

I actully was one of those confused fish people that bought fish on instinct more than anything else......for about 1 month 1/2 I had a Goldfish in a 1 liter bowl.......I flushed it since it stopped moving :dunno:
That was my first fish.
I went through 2 more bettas before I decided to get sierouse about the hobby. So, yes, walmart did get my intrests flowing about fish.

 Death by Cheerio...

:*) I'm sorry, that's probably rude, but it's too funy to pass on....

Walmart did not get me started on fish, although I do buy from them when I have money and I like something I see, what got me started on fish was my older brother, and what got him was the carnival goldfish. I loved his goldies and so then won two of my own. We moved up from them to stuff we caught in the creek, and suffice to say I'm now into tropical :D

:D Its ok I had a feeling someone would laugh at the cheerio goldfish death

No! No such store exists here in Australia and no similar store got me interested in the hobby. I got bit by the bug soon after my son (3 at the time), asked and asked for well over six months for a fish tank for christmas. It wasn't a fad for him either, he want's more and more out of it. He loves his fishes and talks about them all the time and draws pictures of them more often than he draws pics of anything else. Maybe a fishkeeper in a previous life?

No Walmarts around my part of the world, but I must admit it was a direct result of diving into Pets@home to shelter from the rain.

The local Pets@home is a very mixed place, hard to judge: they have 2 very knowlegeable staff, the rest know nothing about fish; the tanks do carry labels about the adult size of fish- but they sell these wretched tiny goldfish biorbs and tiny coldwater kits (their own goldfish have a good-sized tank); they have a vet come in once a week (I am told), but dead fish are frequently left in the tank. They do not stock tiny betta bowls. All in all, a very mixed bunch.

Uh that would be

No

and No again

What's Wallmart ? ;)
