Did I really get a firemouth??

I've got a fish that was sold to me as a firemouth.
It has the body of a firemouth but absolutely no red in the throat.
It also is the most agressive and dominant fish in a tank with a jack dempsey, Another firemouth, a texas green cichlid and an oscar. This fish runs them all.

I'm curious to see if there is another fish that would look just like a firemouth but with no red coloring in the throat and also is more silvery than my other firemout who's body is darker and a very red throat.

Firemouth is just one of a group of species under Thorichthys (Thorichthys Meeki) and you might have another variety from this group.
