I saw the most amazing piece of driftwood at Old Town Aquarium. I looked at the price, and I thought it said $11.99. Too good to be true. It was HUGE and had a ton of caves and holes. It was the kind of piece you'd design your 55g or 75g around. It was $119.99!

No I don't think you were ripped off, they sell it by the weight round here and it can be real expensive. If you are in the UK, I bought some at 'Pets @ Home' recently that was priced at £4.99 a piece, regardless of size!!!! I got 1 piece almost the length of my 4' tank for £4.99, that would have cost me £30 at an lfs.

paid 15 pounds for a piece half the size but it was what her in doors wanted so wasn't worth the hassle of arguing over a tenner...........

It branched off in a few directions, the longest being about 2'. It was very heavy.
