Did I Forget Anything?

You will have about 33x gph at the high settings, I don't know how low you can turn it down but if your not running a skimmer I would think more flow the better. I have almost 30x in my tank with just powerheads plus more with HOB filter and I have no problems so I think you will be fine. I wouldn't worry about the cost, it it's better for you than you want to buy it, best to have the best than not and like ski said they'll save you money on electricity which is a plus.

Yeah, I think I'll do two SEIOs. I'm kind of worried about blowing the sand around, because part will be pretty deep. But I guess I just aim them right and it won't be a problem. The corals I want are mostly moderate flow. I can just turn them down a little. I'll figure something out.

If it turns out to be too much flow you can always order a maxi-jet and then you'll have a spare seio, not a bad thing to have anyways and I wouldn't worry about the sand, just have them in the corners angleing towards the center glass.

I'd get the dual Seios. Having too much flow is difficult :good:. And turning down a seio is just a matter of rotating the "inlet" cowling a little bit to occlude the inlets. A quick turn and you're done :D

A quick turn and you're done biggrin.gif

Yep, I noticed that. And also, maybe I'm just stupid, but it took me a LONG time to figure out how to get the seio in the right... form, I guess I'll call it. You know, the box thing it starts out as then to get it to the more circular form. So here's some pics 'cause I'm not entirely sure I did it right. Sooooo... is that right?
