Thanks I will try and get a clearer pic. Here is another one of the so called Minutus. Any thoughts?

I'd put money on it being an Elongatus but it could still be a submissive Minutus. Impossible to be absolutely sure from photo's.

Have you ever seen it really colour up? (similar to the Demasoni in my Avatar). Elongatus do get quite striking but not to the extent of a Demasoni. A dominant/alpha male Minutus however could easily be mistaken for a Demasoni. Hope that helps a bit.

about an hour after turning the lights off for the night drop in a algae disc for your catfish, maybe even some shrimp pellets, but make sure the others are in the dark for a while or they'll snatch the food from your cat.

also, surely your not leaving the water at that level right?? you've filled the tank to the top right??!!!!

I jave got some algea tablets through the post this morning so he can have one tonight.

Yeah if you read the top post it explains about the water. I didn't want them immediatly to go straight into different water as we could only take back a small amount. I have been adding about 20l every night. It is nearly full now.
