What is this dangling from this dwarf Altolamprologus compressiceps? Prolapse? Worm? What ever it was it fell off. He was fed an overly generous amount of frozen brine shrimp and jumbo blood worms this morning. Could it have been a large poop?

Either a tapeworm, intestinal lining or poop. Probably a poop with intestinal lining. Fish like people and most animals shed their intestinal lining regularly and with fish it looks like that (white). If the fish does that regularly, every day or two, then it has an intestinal problem. So monitor them all and see if it happens again. If it does, then you need to see what is going on.

If they do it regularly, and are eating well, then it's usually caused by intestinal worms. There's more info in the link below.
