Any Aqua One Aquience bits. I don't think my model is made any more, as their website only shows the bow fronted 1200mm tank as the largest, it takes a 36" tube. My tank is nearer 5ft, and takes 48" light tubes.
I own a pet shop, but don't do aquatics, other than a corner of foods, treatments, basic ornaments. I rang Aqua One (Kong?) but their rep hasn't rung back (must have sussed I won't be a huge client.

My problem is this: I need a light unit for the big tank. It holds a 48" light each side of it. The tank comes with 2 units, only one works, so my lovely tank that I inherited is 50% too dark! Online research doesn't reveal much. I can't buy direct from Aqua One.

Is it fixable?

What's the history of my huge tank, anyone know when my model was dropped?

Anyone know a supplier?

Hope you can help!

BTW A lodger left it for me by way of rent due when he moved out. A quick 50% water change, and a rinse of the Eheim Pro II filter bits, and all it's test levels are perfect! Silver sharks (5), Neon Tetras (12), Cherry Barbs (5), Angel fish (3), a Mollie, and couple of Platties. One Angel is eating the Barbs.

AquaOne have stopped making any spare parts for their tanks unfortunately, so you'll have to DIY a repair with whatever you have readily available, unless you can find the parts you need at a local competitor

try - aquariumparts.co.uk these have a massive stock of aqua one products and spares :good:

Also, if you hit any sticking points, you can try the members looking over in the Hardware and DIY section of this forum in addition to here with us in the beginners section.. although there is overlap as some of us do things in both.
