Hi,

As I think this maybe my 1st post or 1st for a long while I'll give you a quick update on my current setup.
My current setup is as follows:
Tank: Jewel Rio 180 with 2x Eheim external filters (Professional 2's I think)
5x Labidochromis Caeruleus (Yellow Labs)
4x Iodotropheus sprengerae (Rusty cichlids)
13x Pseudotropheus demasoni
4x Synodontis petricola

I know that the tank is overstocked (although at times you wouldn't believe so as you can can't see any fish if they choose to hide), but my initial plan was to do this to help prevent too much aggression and I also added 2x external filters to provide a good water turnover.
I have decorated the tank with loads of lava rock, which takes up most of the tank.
I have had this setup running since June last year and so far have had no casualties and or any problems at all.

I am planning to move house soon (well soon as the solicitors decide to do some work, hopefully within 2months...) at which stage I was planning on getting a new tank (hopefully bigger) at which stage I am contemplating removing the Petricola's from the tank, as I got more than I initially wanted and can't think of anyway in which to remove them without destroying my current setup.

Now back to why I'm here, I have just started to notice some Demasoni fry hiding around the rocks and looking for food. So far I have seen at least 6 different fry at the same time with a size ranging from 7mm to around 17mm - which I am assuming is from two broods.
So far I haven't seen/noticed any females holding but then again I wasn't looking for this and they can hide pretty easily in my tank.

I wasn't planning to have fry but was always hoping as I have always had something breeding in my previous tropical tank setups.

Basically I'm after a bit of advice as to what I should do with the fry. I'm thinking that they can stay in the tank until there a bit bigger then move them to a 'grow out' tank (I have an empty Rio 125 & Rekord 70 that I can setup for this).

Gavin
