I finally learned, after a year or so, where the macro is on the camera...and i learned how hard it is to get a flare up! he would flare at the cory cats in his tank and it was like 10 snaps before i got this

I thought he is a Delta tail but he almost looks full enough to be a half moon?!

what color would you betta folks call this? Yellow cellophane

looks like his tail curves out slightly at the top, so prob not a halfmoon, but very very close. def a superdelta rather than delta
isn't it great when your boys turn out to be more than you expected? i bought a superdelta who turned out to be a rosetail!

YAY Superdelta!
He was at PetCo where they charge more for fancy varieties and I got lucky, I knew he was special, he flared for me.....and he was in a normal betta container (they mark their variety on top, his was just marked "Male Betta" when others were marked Delta or whatever), so he was $4 instead of $6. He is an awesome guy. He lives with 3 shrimpies and two cory cats. The cleanup crew.

Dang, I wish the Pectos around here sold Deltas. All they have are VT and CT bettas. If I want a HM or Delta I have to drive an hour one-way to get one, or order online.

Your lucky i can only get hold of VT, VT or really stragly things that are a mash up of all sorts!

my petco only sells VT and there in bad condition :'(
i feel really bad for them.
I went to WalMart to get my betta.
But they only sell VT at WalMart 2
i wish mine sold HM's!!!

Well, that was Delta less than a week ago.

Today, sadly, he's passed on. I don't know why, something went wrong, it was sudden. You can see blood in the fins and along his body.

I'm gonna pack up the Betta mansion for now. I'm bummed. I really liked him.

oh wow im really sorry to hear that. but with all the wonderful pictures u can always remember him. just remember hat u can never replace him, but u can fill that void in agian with a whole new personality.
