Deformed Mollie?

I have a batch of male black mollies that are about 4-5 months old. I am currently treating the tank for ich with the usual, salt and some coppersafe at normal doses. Anyway, I don't think that this is related but I noticed one of them has a deformed eye. One side of his head has swelled up. It is hard to get a good look (cause their black) but I even think his eye is out there on the end. In other words it doesn't look like a growth over the eye. I am trying to determine if this is either:
A. a normal part of his development and the other eye might do this also?
B. a tumor
C. another disease
D. just a natural deformation

Any ideas would be appreciated. I might try to get a picture.

Sounds like popeye. Is the fish swollen with scales sticking out also? If not, have you noticed fighting among your fish?
