my molly has gave birth to fry and they all look like they have bellys too big for their bodys and they cant swim they are just lying on the bottom... any one got any idea whats wrong with them?

Sounds like they've been born prematurely.

Do you have the mother in a breeding trap? That can stress the female out so much she aborts the fry.

na they are a week late its never happened before

I agree they sound premature.  You say they are a week late.  How do you know when she was due and what are you basing the length of the pregnancy on?

if the female has had fry before, this will likely be a premature birth. Dont always rely on the females always being on time.

normally the female has them every 4 weeks give or take a day, but she has never been a week over

They sound premature. I had a female guppy give birth prematurely and same thing happened. Big bellies, can't swim. The stronger ones started swimming eventually but the weaker ones got eaten. Is she in a trap of some form?
