Define "bare Tank"

Ok trying to breed golden wonder killifish and i was told that i need a bare tank expt for the filter and moss for the eggs, keep in mind im a newb, does that mean no rocks?

that means no gravel/rocks/something lining the bottom of the tank other than moss.
