As many of you know, I have a 5 gallon tank that I've divided to hold two male bettas. The problem I have is that while the tank successfully houses the two bettas, filtration is always an issue. I was running an Elite Stingray 5 and a Penguin Bio-Wheel mini until last week (the Penguin filter finally died). The Stingray is an awful filter and was mainly just used for circulations sake.

Now I'm out shopping for new filters for this tank. Preferebly, I'd like an intake on each side of the divider. I want something with a variable flow rate, that isn't too expensive, quiet, and easily cleaned (so preferebly HOB, not internal). While browsing the internet, I stumbled upon this filter:

The plan is running two of these, one on each side of the divider. But before I make the purchase, I'd like to hear from some users of the filter... is it everything it's cracked up to be?
