about 6/7 days ago my male cacatuoides died suddenly,
i did not notice until a couple of days ago that the female was ushering around the tank some tiny fry, about 5, unfortunately due to the lay out of the tank i am unable to catch the fry unless i totally dismantle the tank and anyway i fear that i may have inadvertantly sucked most of them up whilst vacuming the sand two days ago as i did not see them, nor was i expecting to see anything when i was doing my general tidying up.
so it would appear that the old boy has gone and left the missus wi a couple of kiddies to look after
sadly there only appears to be 3 left i dont hold out much hope for them but if they make it i will let you know fingers crossed
now i will have to hunt the lfs to see about a new male for her.
