Dead Platy

Hi all,

Last night i discovered that my male red wag tail platy died. He seemed to be acting normal (eating, swimming around, his colors were nice, etc) the only thing that i remember seeing a little off is his interaction with the other fish. Before i added two other platies (one male, one female) to the tank he alway hung around with the other female platy in the tank, but after the addition he seemed to swim alone more often.

Any ideas?

Size of tank in gallons or litres.
How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.

Was he getting bullied.
How old was he.

tank size: 10 US gallons
fish: 4 platies (now 3) & a bottom feeder
Water stats: all normal, ph is a little high but it always has been

It didn't seem like he was being bullied he just stayed away from the other fish
We had him for about 2 months but he was about 1.5 inches in size

What type of bottom feeder is it.

Its hard to say really without any symtoms to go on.
How are the other fish acting and looking.

all the other fish seem to be fine, they're eating and all swimming together.
I don't know if he just was unhappy b/c he didn't get along with the other fish or if he was sick.
