Dead Lampeyes No Idea Why

hi. woke up this morning to find 2 dead lamp eyes and a dead shrimp. i have no idea why they have been fine since i got them the shrimp may be the one that was sucked into the filter but the fish are a mystery to me. the tanks readings are normal 20 ppm nitrate 0 nitrite and between 0 and .25 of amonia the temp is 26 same as has always been anybody have any ideas i dont want this to happen to the rest of my fish!

Sounds like it's the ammonia! Even small amounts like you have is deadly and shrimp are more sensitive to it than most fish. How long have you had your tank set up and how did you cycle it?

did a fish in cycle but have never had a problem before and ive got at least 10 shrimp in there since i started it. and my bee shrimps usually more delicate red and black are all ok. its been set up 8 months or so now

this morning found my red crystal shrimp dead and this afternoon another lampeye had died. i have done a half water change hope this will help ive not had any problems with dead fish since i got the tank and have leopard endlers and green neon tetras and they are all are ok its only been since i got the lampeyes? i have got a planeria outbreak that im currently in the process of getting rid of but i dont know if it could be those that have killed them somehow even if not it may explain the shrimp deaths tho?

2 more shrimp dead today and another lampeye major action today removed nearly 80 percent of the water change this afternoon. did a test of the old water ammonia was at .25 nitrites at 0 and nitrates were really high at about 80ppm i was wondering weather it could be the nitrates killing the fish and the shrimps?? we will see if anything else is dead tomorrow
