Whenever you treat fish with medication, ALWAYS follow the instructions to the letter; even if the fish looks cured before the course is finished, you must finish the course and give the correct dose. Unfortunately, many things can stress fish and leave them open to Whitespot. How long has your tank been set up?. Did you cycle before adding the first fish? The more info, the better. Even if it's too late for the fish you have left (and I really hope it isn't), it will be invaluable for the future.
I'm very, VERY reluctant to follow the instructions again - the last time I did that, my fish were dying within 30 minutes of adding it and I was extremely careful with the dosages. All of my harlequins were dead within an hour of the treatment being added... I find that odd... I know whitespot kills, but the timing is suspect.
The tank has been set up for a couple of months now, it had a three-week fishless cycle going before anything was adde, with 'cycle' chemicals to assist it. The problems started when I added the three harlequins and the siamese fighter to my tank of 12 neons. (It's only a 50L tank, I hadn't planned to add any more.)
